The most recent book I read went by the title Demon Girl by Penelope Fletcher a young adult selection. Warning this book contains somewhat gory details may not be suitable for younger readers defiantly a teen read. All in all it was a good book. My one complaint was the plot seemed rushed. The story starts off in early morning and within two days our heroine Rae almost dies many times, falls in love with two different guys, saves a vampire, looses her best friend and finds out she’s a demon (not in that order). If your into the fantasy world its the right book for you. Fletcher is a talented author and you can tell she did some research into the mythical creatures she used with her own little twist here and there. The description of her charters is somewhat veg but in my opinion that’s good so it leaves room for the readers interruption. My overall rating in a scale one to five would be about four. As for myself I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Hi Emily,
Great review! Your comments hit the nail on the head, not a book for readers under ten/eleven and as the story progresses it will get darker.
I can see why you may have felt it was a bit rushed. I love a good fast read, and my own book was paced to the beat of my own drum, so is rather racy
I hope you enjoy the second (A Demon Day).
Penelope,
