A little bit of detail:

The Little Town on the Prairie is about a family who lives on a wide open prairie, and then in the winter they move into  town to stay warm. Before I tell you a little bit more about the book I thought you might want to know that characters. Charles (Pa) and Caroline (Ma) are the parents of Mary,Laura,Carrie, and Grace. In this book one of the main topics was that they wanted to send Mary to a special college for the blind. All of the family was working extra hard to earn money. When it came time to send Mary to college they had earned enough money to let her go. While Pa and Ma were taking Mary up to college, Laura found a special something. I wont spoil what she found, because if I did it would not make it very exciting when you read it. Since this family cares so much for one another, Laura got a summer job to help pay for Mary to stay in school. The other ladies of the house stayed home and took care of all the house and farm chores, while Pa worked for other people in the town. I wont tell you anymore of the book, so that I wont spoil it for you.

This book is written about the author’s (Laura IngallsWilder) life. When I read this book it feels so real to me. The way Laura Ingalls Wilder writes with so much detail makes this book even better. My favorite character in this book is probablyLaura, because of  how driven and caring she is. I think that everybody should have the attitude that Laura had in this book. I do indeed recommend this book to all people. This book could suit most because it has some adventure but it also has a lot of family and fun to it. I would give this book five out five stars! I really enjoyed it.

-This book has about three hundred and seven pages in it.

You did a great job giving enough detail of the book that people would want to read it but not too much detail to ruin it for the reader. You also gave your personal thoughts of how you related to the character and why. Great job.

Great job Mak! I love that you love to read! It sounds to me like you’re able to go a little farther in to the story to find personal things that allows you to relate to the characters. That’s a gift that a lot of people don’t have. Keep up the good work!
