Review

This book is the first in an amazing young adult series. Vampyre fiction novels have recently become quite popular among readers in my age group and Marked is without a doubt my favorite. From the first page I was hooked. Zoey is a complex character with a family life I could relate to. When she thinks her life has taken a turn for the worst she realizes being Marked might actually be the greatest thing that ever happened to her. Not only is she accepted and understood somewhere, but she finds romance unlike she found in her human boyfriends. Another reason I love this book is it was written not only by P.C. Cast, but also by her daughter Kristen. Cast and Kristin worked together to created a work of realistic literature. Young adults can relate to Zoey and the world around her.
