Everyone has a sibling that they argue with.  With every set of arguing children there is the one person who instructs the children to stop.  My favorite character from Tales of Tossledown- Holler has to be the grippers, Mee and Himm.  I really liked these characters because everyone can relate in some way.  One thing I really did not like about these characters was they often promoted hitting and fighting, which is never acceptable, under any circumstance.  The brothers who always fought were not handled right because they should be gently told not to fight, not screamed at to stop.  These characters are amazing because everyone argues with someone at one point in their lives.  I thought these characters were really funny because they argue over the silliest things, then got removed from the contest.  Overall, Holler was an incredibly good book and is highly recommended.
