I bought this omnibus book with much excitement. I’d never heard of it and it looked original, but unfortunately, the books disappointed. The books were pretty much the same one after the other, and whenever one of the main characters got into serious trouble, God, or “Elyon” would always show up and magically save them. This series should have been two books, maybe if not one ginormous first book. The concept of these books were original and fresh and was articulated well. However the idea wasn’t backed by a good plot or memorable characters.
