This book is a great book. It’s fiction and includes the Greek and Roman gods. I’d recommend it for anyone 8 years old or older.

My favorite part is when Piper, Leo, and Jason go to Medea’s lair. They’re in a sewer (finding storm spirits), and Medea uses charm talk to make Jason and Leo do things (buy clothes, go shopping, etc.). Piper (daughter of Aphrodite) was a charm talker too and she was trying to fight Medea with charm talk (which makes people do what you ask ‘em to do). Medea tells Jason and Leo to kill each other because she says the fountain right in the middle of her store/hideout will allow them come back alive. But she’s just trying to kill them because she works for the giants and monsters. Jason, Leo, and Piper come out alive. I really liked that part the most because it scared me and reminded me of school where people try to convince me to do things that I don’t think are right…but I sometimes do it even though I don’t think it is smart.

Glad you like it, Ed. Thanks for reading it. I think you’ll like the book too and you don’t have to read the Percy Jackson ones to enjoy this one and follow it.
