The Tale of Despereaux is about a mouse who saved a Princess. I think that the book was great because (1) Roscuro isn’t like the other rats that are cruel and likes the dark. (2) Despereaux saved the princess and he was describe as a “sickly creature “. The book can be confusing, but if you read it carefully it is not that hard to read.  It’s the type of book that you can’t put down and you’ll be reading it all night or at least until you finish it.  I’ll recommend this book to kids around my age and young adults.
